Meet the Woman Behind the Movement

An African American woman with short curly gray hair, wearing large tinted glasses, a pink blazer, and a white top, smiling with arms crossed against a plain gray background.

Katrina A. Roddy is a best-selling author, entrepreneur coach, and the visionary founder of The Corporate Breakup. After 30 years in corporate America, Katrina turned her own leap into entrepreneurship into a blueprint for others — helping individuals, schools, and communities rethink what’s possible through business ownership.

She launched Classroom2Career, a nationally recognized youth entrepreneurship program that teaches students how to build businesses before they graduate — reaching middle schools, high schools, and colleges across underserved communities. Her work has secured multi-million-dollar grants and built real-world pathways for student success, one business plan at a time.

Today, Katrina leads the charge in building Entrepreneur Centers in schools, training certified coaches, and equipping educators with AI-powered tools through her online platform, The Business Plan Author. Her movement is about more than entrepreneurship — it’s about ownership, impact, and showing the next generation how to own their future.
